Experience Cirque du Soleil’s “La Nouba” at Walt Disney World this Summer
There comes a certain expectation of standard when we hear the words “Cirque du Soleil” — we expect fantasy and grandeur, mind-bending acts of the human physique and lots and lots of sequins. It is the ultimate show experience. La Nouba, one of the longest running Cirque du Soleil resident shows, looks to dazzle everyone in the family including kids of all ages and moms and dads, too.
The show’s title “La Nouba” originates from the French phrase “faire la Nouba,” which means to party, to live it up. As expected, showgoers can look forward to opulent sets, brilliant choreography, live music, and, most importantly, witnessing the ordinary become the extraordinary. The show’s cast is composed of 65 international artists, which include ballet aerialist Ana Cuellar and trapeze artist, Miguel Trajo Vargas. The DiMe Media team was lucky enough to meet Ana and Miguel on a recent trip to Miami.
The performers, both Mexican, love working with their team of athletes and artists, but especially enjoy that nearly everyone is from a different corner of the world. Cultural diversity is one of La Nouba’s greatest strengths.
From breathtaking leaps to mystifying sets and colorful costumes, La Nouba is sure to entertain the whole familia. Housed in Cirque du Soleil’s first independent free-standing permanent theater specifically designed for this show, La Nouba will awaken the senses, and test guests’ perception of reality.
Now is a great time to come and see La Nouba at Walt Disney World. Cirque du Soleil offers a special Florida Residents offer, where tickets can be purchased for as little as $49. To make it a weekend, Florida Residents can also enjoy great rates this summer from $107 per night, plus tax, at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.
