Meet the Founders
Jolly, CEO and co-founder of Latina Mom Bloggers Network, was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and moved to the United States when she was only 10 months old. Although she was raised in the United States, Uruguay is always in her heart. Thanks to parents who always encouraged her to stay true to her roots, Piera is fluent in both Spanish and English and values her diverse culture.
In 2007, Piera became a mom and motherhood opened up a whole new world for her. Inspired by her little boy and being a new mother, Piera founded her popular blog, JollyMom.com in 2008. Piera and her blog have been honored with multiple awards, including being named a Power Mom by Nielsen in 2009, honored by Digitini as one of Atlanta’s leading multi-cultural social media moms in 2010, and named one of Access Communication’s Top 50 Mom Blogs in 2010.
2011 has brought even bigger success with the launch of Latina Mom Bloggers. Piera’s goal is to bring her years of online experience and working with top brands to the Latina Mom Bloggers network and help other bloggers to flourish and grow professionally.
